The
Ministry of Energy, Communications and Multimedia
will host the ASEAN COMMUNICATIONS + MULTIMEDIA 2000.
This premier event which consists of an exhibition
and forum will showcase the full potential of the
convergence of technologies. Fomerly known as ASEAN
TELECOM, Malaysia's No.1 Telecommunications & IT event,
the name change is to reflect the tremendous opportunities
that can be harnessed with the merging of telecommunications,
broadcasting and on-line services.
In its 3rd presentation, ASEAN COMMUNICATIONS + MULTIMEDIA
2000 will be one of the biggest international trade
events of its kind in the region. Scheduled from 31st
October to 3rd November 2000 at the Malaysian International
Exhibition & Showroom (MINES), Kuala Lumpur, ASEAN
COMMUNICATIONS + MULTIMEDIA 2000 is supported by the
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission
& Multimedia Development Corporation.
